OUR
STORY
"Jacko from Clyde Park Station always appreciated traditional bush skills and it has become a passion of mine to learn some of these skills"
Thanks for checking out our website. This is our story.
I'm Ryan, a plumber and have over the years, learnt to work with both copper and metal. Blacksmithing is a skill that I have been interested in, ever since I was a young tacker. My wife Lashai, a registered nurse in Toowoomba, spends much of her time between shifts in the shed helping make stunning roses or keeping our office in order. We live in Pittsworth, Queensland and in 2016 we started 'Clyde Park Collections'.
Our business name came from Clyde Park Station in North Queensland which was owned by a dear friend, Jacko Sim, where I lived and worked for a number of years. I always appreciated the love Jacko had for traditional skills like blacksmithing. It has become a passion of mine to learn some of these skills. Photos throughout this website show Jacko riding his horse Newbra on his cattle station. Jacko sadly passed away in 2016 and in his memory, Clyde Park Collections was borne.

Clyde Park Collections have designed and created a number of custom items, such as trophies and mailboxes and are able to give each a personalised touch. We love using our creativity and skills to see a customer's vision and ideas come to life.
